1 Dead, 1 Injured in Dallas Bus Shooting

DALLAS (AP) — Police say one shuttle bus passenger has died and another remains hospitalized with a gunshot wound after the vehicle came under fire while leaving a Dallas bar.

Dallas police say the search continues for the person who opened fire early Monday into the bus and then fled. Investigators are trying to determine what led to the shootings.

The shuttle bus operator drove to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center after gunfire left a window shattered and bullet holes in the vehicle.

Officer Juan Fernandez had no immediate details on the person who died or the condition of the hospitalized victim. Fernandez also had no additional information on the search for the suspect.

A UT Southwestern official had no immediate information.
