ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Two-time American League MVP Juan Gonzalez and former reliever Jeff Russell are the latest players selected to the Texas Rangers Baseball Hall of Fame.

The 18th and 19th members of the team's hall were announced Tuesday. They will be inducted during pregame ceremonies July 11.

Gonzalez, the AL MVP in 1996 and 1998, is the Rangers' career leader with 372 home runs and 1,180 RBIs. He played for Texas from 1989-99 and 2002-03. His 157 RBIs and 97 extra-base hits in 1998 are team records.

Russell is the Rangers' career leader with 406 relief appearances and 251 games finished from 1985-92 and 1995-96. An All-Star as a starter in 1988, he led the AL with 38 saves and 66 games finished as the closer the next year.
