Yes, this is a sad story.  And we don't want to be insensitive.  But it's also a reminder that a man is never going to reach an age where he finally just quietly accepts or appreciates a woman's incessant nagging.

76-year-old Vittorio Ninotto of Cuneo, Italy was arrested on Sunday after he strangled his 82-year-old wife to death because of her, "constant nagging."

They'd been married for 27 years.

Apparently, beyond the nagging, Ninotto's wife was accusing him of having an affair with a younger woman.  He told the cops, "I couldn't stand it any longer.  We started arguing, then we started to fight.  I never thought I'd kill her."

He's facing a murder charge.
