Allen West Bows Out In Florida; What Could 2016 Hold In Store For Him?

Allen West, the outspoken, Tea Party-backed conservative who rose to prominence in the House race two years ago in Florida conceded last week to his democratic opponent, Patrick Murphy.

West, an Iraq War veteran, was one of the Republican Party's most outspoken and honest conservatives.  The Florida Tea Party movement had solidly backed him as the right man for the job in 2010.  At the final count, West had lost by a mere 1,904 votes.  Such a thin margin illustrates just how vital every single vote truly is.
