Update: Man Suspected In Shooting Death of Ex Wife, Abduction of Son

Tyler Police have cancelled an Amber Alert for a child abducted by his father.  Police in West Monroe, Louisiana have arrested a Tyler, Texas man after a brief chase.  Late Wednesday, West Monroe police attempted to stop a gray Buick LeSabre, but the driver attempted to flee.  The car crashed after a short chase and officers arrested 41 year-old James Calvert was arrested on a capital murder warrant out of Tyler, Texas.  He is wanted in the shooting death of his ex-wife.  Calvert’s 4 year-old son was found safe in the back seat of the vehicle.
