Aaaaaaand the drama begins. This video footage was taken by a man trying to cast a vote for Barack Obama in Pennsylvania (an important swing state). We say "trying" because the machine doesn't make it particularly possible to actually vote for Obama -- every time the man tries, his vote is cast for Romney.
This video is just the right amount of heartwarming and sad. Some men who were out boating in Alaska came across a pod of killer whales. Then things got dramatic when a mother sea otter and her pup made the scene and were hunted by the whales.
There have been a lot of awful or inspiring stories coming out of Hurricane Sandy. This manages to be both. A man found a note in his house scrawled by a person who had taken a blanket to keep hypothermia at bay. The author of the note was sure he was dying.
Hey, thanks Sandy! As if people didn't hate taking the bus enough, now we get to wait in a line to wait in line to ride one. That's right -- the lines have lines. It's taking people multiple hours to get to and from work. Good thing it's not miserable outside. Just kidding, it totally is! Here are some pics of what people are doing just to get to work.
Truthfully, we missed most of the storm yesterday. Because we were inside ... away from the windows, with our curtains closed ... like we were supposed to be. These people weren't, however, so now we can see what was going on outside while we were playing board games with our fingers crossed. Here is some crazy video from yesterday's storm.
As predicted, Hurricane Sandy created one crazy night. Millions without power, explosions, flooding and at least 18 people dead. Don't let your braggedy friends on Facebook convince you this wasn't a big deal. It was crazy. Here are some pics to sum up what happened.
Don't always believe everything Facebook tells you. If it was all true, do you have any idea how many dollars would've been donated to charity for liking that picture of a kitten? It can't be all true, and it's not. Here are some pictures of "Hurricane Sandy" circulating around that most certainly are NOT pictures of Hurricane Sandy. You're welcome.
