During her UTEP years, Emily was in need of a media internship. She was taken in by Townsquare Media, where she learned about the radio and digital world. Here she gained experience by joining the morning show teams. This was where she was given the nickname of Intern Emily, which still haunts her to this day. Emily hopes to build a successful career in the media industry, so she can give her cat's the life they deserve.
