Hypocrites: The Westboro Baptist Church to Protest Steve Jobs’ Funeral While Using iPhone

Normally we ignore the pigs at the Westboro Baptist Church, since their protests at funerals are just lame publicity stunts.  But this time we can all laugh in their hypocritical faces.

After Steve Jobs passed away on Wednesday, a tweet was posted by Margie Phelps, one of the leaders of the church.  Her father is Fred Phelps, the group's leader.

Margie announced that, quote, "Westboro will picket funeral.  He had a huge platform, gave God no glory and taught sin."

And now, for the irony . . . underneath her tweet, it shows that she posted it using TWITTER FOR iPHONE.

Sarah Palin Will Not Run for President

Sarah Palin has finally ended months of speculation and announced she will not seek the GOP nomination for president.

The former Alaska governor and 2008 vice-presidential candidate issued a statement that read in part, “As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order.”

German Prostitutes Have to Feed a Street-Walking Meter

Prostitution is legal in Germany, and subject to taxation. While the German government doesn’t have a problem collecting taxes from sex workers who operate out of brothels, getting street walkers to pay up has been tricky.

The German city of Bonn thinks they have a solution to this problem: a parking-meter like device which women who solicit on the street put $8.70 into nightly for a ticket that gives them the privilege of using the pavement.
