The body of a man believed to be Marlin Jay Anderson was found in the Wichita Mountains early Friday.  The Comanche County Sheriff's Office did confirm that a vehicle found on the scene was registered to Anderson and that the man found had apparently died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.  Anderson was released from the Clay County, Texas jail late Thursday after his attorney posted a $75,000 bond.  As of late Saturday, no further details have been made available.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office on August 8th announced the arrest of a 54 year-old man, accused of sexually abusing a 3 year-old child.

According to an affidavit, Marlin Jay Anderson was arrested on August 4th following a nearly month long investigation.  Anderson's bond was set at   $75,000.  The victim was described as a 3 year-old "family member".

According to the affidavit, Clay County Sheriff's officials received a phone call on July 10, 2012 from a Dallas area polygraphist who was hired by the accused to administer a polygraph exam "in reference to a sexual assault".  The polygraphist told investigators that during the interview process, Anderson admitted to having a prior sexual relationship with another female victim from age 6 to 16.

Clay County officials interviewed the now adult female, who described years of sexual abuse.  The woman also told investigators of the abuse to the 3 year-old victim, which according to the affidavit, occurred on or about November 14th of last year.  The adult female also provided investigators with an email she said was from Anderson, in which he stated that he did not believe he was a pedophile and that "the legal definition of a pedophile does not fit me...".  The child is the daughter of the adult female.

Investigators interviewed the 3 year-old victim at Patsy's House in Wichita Falls.  Sheriff Lemon's told News Talk 1290 that no one else had come forward with information prior to the contact from the polygraphist in Dallas.
