Also, I don't understand this obsession with retro-actively making everything the founding fathers did Christian in nature. We're the founders of our nation God-fearing? I suppose so, some more than others, but to suggest that everything they did was rooted in Christian principles is murky history. So, even if a senator is doing great job and really doing his/her best to represent you in Washington, no re-election?
