Comedy Central took a bit of a breather after Jon Stewart’s final Daily Show to let Stephen Colbert soak up some spotlight at CBS, but with Trevor Noah’s September 28 premiere fast arriving, it’s time to put asses in the chairs. Groove to some Kanye and lower your seat for our first look at The Daily Show With Trevor Noah.

Comedy Central released the first official promo for the new Daily Show, in which host Trevor Noah manages not to say a word, but still get in a subtle jab at his predecessor. One assumes the set will look different as well, though it’s a bit difficult to judge by what little we’re shown of Noah’s surroundings.

As to what else Noah might change of the series, the South African comic told GQ in July:

I have a very vague picture of the show right now. It’ll be like a face-lift. Because, don’t get it twisted, I’m a big fan of ‘The Daily Show,’ and that’s what it’s still gonna be. It’s still gonna be ‘The Daily Show.’ It’s the same way, when Fallon took over from Leno, it’s still ‘The Tonight Show.’

We’ll find out for ourselves on September 28, but in the meantime, get a taste of The Daily Show With Trevor Noah above.
