Dead Body Found on 10th Street Identified

Yesterday  (July 16), Wichita Falls Police Officers were called to investigate a dead body found in the backyard of a residence on 10th street. The body was severely decomposed to the point that it was unidentifiable at the time.

Today (July 17), the Tarrant County Medical Examiners Office has positively identified 61-year-old William Brantley Gregg III as the deceased person located yesterday in the 2000 block of 10th Street.

The Wichita Falls Police Department Criminal Investigations Section will continue the investigation into Gregg’s death and caused of death has not been determined at this time.
