Ginger and Kelly Kelly – Humane Society Pets of the Week!
Cats don’t like taking pills. With some dogs you can hide the pill in a treat, but cats are a little different. I have a cat that is on thyroid medication and she’s getting pills twice a day. She doesn’t like it and I don’t like it, but I continue with her medication because it’s what is best for her. Yet some pets don’t have someone looking out for them, and that’s where you come in.
The Humane Society shelters pets, gets them the care they need, gives them the love they’re craving, and does their best to place them in permanent homes. Whether you’re looking for a lazy dog who prefers a quiet walk to play, or a cat who chases toys, chances are the Humane Society will have your perfect match.
May I present our pets of the week. If you’d like to see them in person or get more information on these pets or any other pets that the Humane Society has, check them out online here or call 940-855-4941. They’re located at 4360 Old Iowa Park Road in Wichita Falls.
Ginger is a large, female, tan and white Shepherd mix. At three-years-old, she knows how to behave herself, but she still has plenty of energy to play. She’s great with meeting new people and gets along well with other pets, and she likes taking walks. She’s up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Ginger is looking to find a forever home and can’t wait to meet her new family, so stop by to see if you’re right for each other!
Kelly Kelly is a medium size, female, grey and brown medium hair mix. She’s almost three-years-old, so she can be quite the lady, but still loves to play and explore. Like any cat you can expect that she’ll find her favorite napping place, but she also likes a nice warm lap at times. She’s spayed, up-to-date on shots, heartworm tested and on preventative, and microchipped. Kelly Kelly is a pretty kitty who is looking for a new home, and though it may take her a moment to warm up, once she knows you she’s all yours!
