This is a tragic story, but at least justice will be served, thanks to one bad-ass vigilante.

On Thursday night, 23-year-old Michael Ettipio of Lancaster, New York was driving home from a bar, drunk, and he hit a 14-year-old boy on his bike.  And the kid died from the crash.  But Ettipio sped off.

40-year-old Benny Kirkland watched the whole thing happen, and wasn't about to let a hit-and-run driver get away.  So he followed Ettipio home.

Kirkland says, "I grabbed him by the back of his shirt and said, 'Let's go.  You're going to answer for what you did.'"  And then he put Ettipio in his car and drove him back to the scene.

Ettipio was arrested and charged with second-degree vehicular manslaughter, leaving the scene of a fatal accident, and driving while intoxicated.  His blood-alcohol level was .225, which is almost three times the legal limit.
