Local Store Suffers Labor Day Break In
It seems there is nothing thieves will not take. Keeno’s owner Gary Keeney arrived at the store on Monday to find the front door glass smashed and a large quantity of jerky taken. The thieves left behind a jar filled with money left by patrons for local charities.
Police found a broken jar and pieces of jerky just up the street from the store. The break in happened sometime between 7 am and 2:30 PM on Monday. So far, police have no suspects. If anyone has information about the break in they are encouraged to call Crime Stoppers at 940-322-9888.
