Motivational Speaker Ziglar Dead At 86

The Facebook page of author, salesman and motivational speaker Zig Ziglar says the 86 year-old legend has died at his Dallas-area home today.  Few details have been released, but Dallas News is reporting Ziglar had recently battled pneumonia.

The Alabama native, who spent years in sales, had cultivated a world-wide following as a motivational speaker.  He had lived in the Dallas area since the late 1960's.  Ziglar authored over two dozen books and traveled the world giving motivational speeches to corporations and audiences of every size.
