A patient at Northwest Texas Hospital decided it was time for him to check out, so he fled the hospital in such a hurry, he didn't even have a hospital gown on, according to police.

Police said the naked man, identified as 36-year-old Russell Scott Saylor, then went on a rampage in the parking lot of the hospital, attempting to steal cars and make his getaway. He terrorized Amarillo citizens in the parking lot, mainly with his nudity.  Stories like this make me feel a lot better about myself.  Through all my stupidity, I've yet to hit a high point of this magnitude.

Police said Saylor ran around, approaching people in the parking lot, demanding car keys. He even approached an adult male and his infant son, and after that attempt failed, he confronted three women and tried to take the car keys from one of the women, according to police. I'm sure she was like, "I would, except I don't want your naked butt on my seat."

Police said the nudist then grabbed the woman's purse to try to locate her keys, but I guess all he could find was lotion and perfume. The female victim was able to escape as Saylor attempted to get into the vehicle by opening the passenger door.

The madness doesn't stop there, it gets much weirder!  Security caught the Saylor, brought him back into the hospital, where he then attempted to climb through the ceiling through the tiles and fell to the ground.

Connect Amarillo reported, "The hospital staff and security were able to catch up to Saylor as he ran to 1500 S. Coulter. Police found him on the floor of the hospital with injuries after he attempted to climb through the ceiling and fell through to the ground. Saylor was arrested by the police and booked into the Potter County Detention Center for two counts of robbery, along with outstanding local felony warrants for unlawful possession of a firearm and evading arrest or detention with a prior conviction."

Police finally arrested Saylor, and it was probably for his own good.

What kind of drugs were they pumping into this guy at the hospital?
