Horror, action or comedy? Pick your poison, because all three genres will be represented in the movies opening in wide release this weekend.

‘The Cabin in the Woods’ has the most descriptive title since ‘Snakes on a Plane,’ because it involves five friends going to a — wait for it — cabin in the woods, where bad things befall them.

In ‘Lockout,’ the dangerous prisoners kept in an orbiting prison 50 miles above the earth riot, and only a wrongly-convicted government agent can rescue the president’s daughter from the chaos.

And in the modern take on ‘The Three Stooges,’ the classic trio of Moe, Larry and Curly try to save their childhood orphanage but inadvertently stumble into a murder plot and wind up starring in a reality TV show.

Here’s a sneak peek.
