Wichita Falls Police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a home invasion and gunshots early Thursday morning.  Just before 5 am, police responded to a home on Taylor.  The victim was asleep at his residence in the 1100 block of Taylor when he heard a "boom."  The unidentified victim said that four armed black males entered his home, calling out his nickname and demanding money.

The suspects took an undisclosed amount of money from the victim and then drove him to another family member’s home in the 1100 block of Roosevelt.  The victim was made to kick open the door of that home and demanded money from that individual as well.  The suspects and the victim who was taken to the home on Roosevelt left the residence and the victim ran away.   As he fled, one of the suspects shot at him.   The suspects fled in a dark colored vehicle described as a Chevrolet Malibu type vehicle.  It may have been a rental car.

No one was injured.   Shell casings were recovered at the scene.   The case is currently under investigation.   Police are asking anyone with information about this case to contact the WFPD Criminal Investigation Section at 940-761-7762 or Crime Stoppers at 940-322-9888.
