Best Known For: A two-time All-Star, Jim ‘Mudcat’ Grant played for the Cleveland Indians, Minnesota Twins, Los Angeles Dodgers, Montreal Expos, St. Louis Cardinals, Oakland Athletics and Pittsburgh Pirates from 1958 to 1971. After retiring as a player, Grant has promoted the Negro League players whose era came well before his major league career.

Bobby Clarke

Age: 63

Profession: Retired NHL Player/ NHL Executive

Best Known For: An eight-time All-Star center, Bobby Clarke was an NHL superstar during his playing career with the Philadelphia Flyers from 1969 to 1984. Clarke was the captain of the Flyers’ Stanley Cup-winning teams in 1974 and 1975. Clarke was awarded the Hart Trophy as league MVP three times. Since retiring, Clarke has served as general manager of the Flyers and Minnesota North Stars. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1987.

Betsy King

Age: 57

Profession: LPGA Golfer

Best Known For: A winner of 34 LPGA Tour events, Betsy King is among the most successful women’s golfers of her generation. Since debuting on the LPGA Tour in 1977, King won six major championships, including consecutive US Opens in 1989 and 1990.

Jay Buhner

Age: 48

Profession: Retired MLB Player

Best Known For: A one-time All-Star, Jay Buhner played outfield for the New York Yankees and Seattle Mariners from 1987 to 2001. In Seattle, Buhner was part of the Mariners’ teams that often contended for the American League championship from 1995 to 2001. He finished his playing career with 310 home runs.

Patrick Carpentier

Age: 41

Profession: Retired Race Car Driver

Best Known For: A multi-disciplined race car driver, Patrick Carpentier drove on the IndyCar, CART and NASCAR circuits from 1992 to 2011. He was CART’s Toyota Atlantic Series Champion in 1996.
