The family of Brandi Vela, the girl who committed suicide last month after years of cyber-bullying, have said that the bullying hasn't stopped with her death.

Brandi shot herself in the chest in front of her family after years of alleged bullying that included fake dating profiles made in her name promising sexual favors. Brandi and her family notified the police and school district in Texas City, TX, but were told that nothing could be done as the app used for the harassment was untraceable.

But now, Brandi's family says that the harassment has continued with fake Facebook profiles making fun of Brandi. One profile showed Brandi's face superimposed on a pig's body, and another with guns photoshopped over Brandi's chest. The profiles were removed after complaints from Brandi's family, but Brandi's father Raul says that the damage is done and he now knows what his daughter was going through, telling KHOU,

I thought all this was behind us but it’s not over,

I know what she was going through now. It’s not that easy just to shut it off and let it go.

I want justice. And I will for years. We’ll never, we’ll never stop.
