Texas Wildfires: Mapped!
How many fires are there and where are they? Smoke from the Possum Kingdom fire was so strong in Wichita Falls last night, folks were calling the WFFD to report the smell, thinking something in their own neighborhoods was ablaze. That's a big fire! The damage is already staggering. Firefighters have worked tirelessly to contain these blazes, but weather conditions are working against them. The Texas Interagency Coordination Center and Texas A&M have a website that will show you where the active fires are and where hot spots continue to create problems.
