It's the one dread disease for which there are no survivors.  And the race to find a cure has reached a fever-pitch in recent years.  Every September, Alzheimer's Association chapters across the nation put on 'The Walk To End Alzheimer's', a fundraising event that never fails to attract people from every age demographic, every social group, every walk of life.

This year's walk in Wichita Falls will again be held at Sike's Lake on the Midwestern State University campus.  Patty Taylor, the regional director for the Alzheimer's Association chapter of North Texas, dropped by The Rise & Shine Show to talk about the upcoming walk on September 28th.  Teams are forming right now.  Click here to register!  Click on the audio player below to hear our interview with Patty Taylor.
