Why Aren’t The Police Enforcing The Law In NYC?

Zucotti Park in Lower Manhattan is a privately owned piece of property.  Now, down here in the Republic, er uh, that is, the great state of Texas, if someone just showed up to camp out on your private property, you’d pick up the phone and call the police or sheriff and have them removed.  Apparently, the same system is said to exist in New York City.  Right.  Squatters have been stinking up the park there in Lower Manhattan since the middle of last month.  The owners have asked for police help, but have received none.  Here’s the whole, sordid tale from My Fox New York.
