Wichita Falls Police Investigate Sunday Shooting

Wichita Falls Police are investigating a shooting late Sunday night. Police say the shooting occurred just before 9 pm in the 1200 block of 36^th Street. One victim, a female, was transported to United Regional with what have been described as non-life threatening injuries. One source tells News Talk 1290 that the victim was shot in a leg.

A witness told police they saw a hispanic male, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing around 220 pounds.  The suspect reportedly ran east in the alley towards the Texas National Guard Armory after the shots were fired.
