Wichita Falls Police Make Early Morning Drug Bust

The Organized Crime Unit of the Wichita Falls Police Department served a search warrant at 1621 22nd Street early this morning.  The result was a major drug bust and the arrest of an occupant of that home.  Officers seized $1,001.00 in cash, 14 grams of heroin, 4 ounces of marijuana, .2 grams of meth, scales, packaging and surveillance equipment.

41 year-old Jose Antonio Ruiz is being held in the Wichita County Jail.  His bond on today’s arrest is still pending as of press time.  Ruiz was also served with four outstanding bonds for manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance with bonds totaling $500,000.
