New Netflix Instant Releases: December 2017
Chestnuts roasting on an open fire…Baby Groot nipping at your toes… That’s right. Netflix is giving subscribers an early Christmas gift in December as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits the streaming service — just in time for your family gatherings (or avoidance thereof). Unfortunately, with Disney set to launch their own streaming service, you won’t be able to enjoy the studio’s films on Netflix for much longer. Start marking your calendars now (and apologize to your loved ones in advance for your lack of interaction) because Netflix is looking pretty stacked in March. In addition to the usual assortment of recent releases, old favorites and contemporary classics, next month brings premieres of new Netflix Original series like Love Season 2, Grace and Frankie Season 3, and — last but far from least — the latest addition to Marvel’s Defenders lineup.

Several outlets are confirming this terrible news, which comes just one month ahead of the release of Star Trek Beyond, in which he reprises the role of Chekov.
SNL and Julia Louis-Dreyfus Revive Elaine Benes for the Democratic Debates
You can’t have Julia Louis-Dreyfus host SNL without at least some reference to her Seinfeld past — especially when you bring Larry David back to reprise his role as presidential candidate Bernie Sanders. In this week’s debate-themed cold open, Sanders and Kate McKinnon’s Hillary Clinton indulge in their usual caricature shenanigans and cartoonish sparring, this time with cameos from a couple of beloved sitcoms of NBC’s past.
