One of the best spring activities in Oklahoma are local tulip farms where people can pick their own bouquet of tulips. This year, Oklahoma's tulip farms are planning to open in March.

One of Oklahoma's most popular tulip farms is Oklahoma Tulips in Harrah, Oklahoma. Located east of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Tulips offers several rows of colorful tulips for you to pick and make your own personal bouquet. The farm also has photo opportunities for couples and families to take with their tulips.

Oklahoma Tulips is currently getting ready for tulip season and is set to open in March. During the summer months, Oklahoma Tulips transforms the garden into a sunflower field and people can pick their own sunflowers as well. The farm is closed during the fall and winter months.

Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch is a new tulip farm in Oklahoma.

Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch opened near Altus, Oklahoma, in 2021 offering a pumpkin patch and fall games. In August of 2024, the pumpkin patch announced that it would be planting a tulip field in the spring of 2025.

Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch will also function as a you-pick tulip farm. The pumpkin patch planted 40,000 tulips and daffodils in December 2024 for their first spring tulip season. Recently, Sweet Pickins Pumpkin Patch posted on its official Facebook page that they're planning to open in mid-March.
