Oklahoma MOM Is Giving Away Millions in Free Dental Care Again
This story pops up each year, but it never really hits as hard as it should. Maybe it sounds too good to be true, or maybe it's because free doesn’t usually come without strings attached. But this one does.
OK-MOM
The Oklahoma Mission of Mercy is back in 2026, and for two straight days, they’re doing something most people assume doesn’t exist anymore.
They’re giving away dental care. Real dental care. No insurance. No income check. No “you probably don’t qualify” fine print. You just show up and get your dental work done.
How?
OK-MOM is a massive volunteer-run dental clinic that sets up shop in a different Oklahoma town each year. This time, Enid is the stop. Dentists, hygienists, assistants, and volunteers from all over the state turn some random place into a full-blown dental clinic for a few days, and then they just go to work.
The last time OK-MOM came through our corner of Oklahoma, more than 7,000 procedures were done on around 1,800 patients in those two days. Cleanings, fillings, extractions, things people have been putting off for years because life, money, or both got in the way. The total value of that care was just shy of 1.34 million dollars.
It Was All Free
Here’s the part that usually makes people pause. Everyone qualifies. Kids, adults, seniors. If you’re a minor, a parent has to stay with you. Some procedures, like dentures, aren’t available, but the basics that relieve pain and fix problems absolutely are.
This year, the clinic will happen on Friday and Saturday, February 6th and 7th, at the Stride Bank Center in Enid. There’s a brief health screening, plan to spend most of the day there, and yes, they’ll even feed you breakfast and lunch. Translators will be on site too.
And if you’re wondering how this even happens, it’s volunteers. 100 percent of it. Dentists who could be anywhere else, but choosing to be there to help out people in need.
It’s not flashy and somehow, it never goes viral, but for a lot of Oklahomans, it’s the reason they’re finally able to smile without pain. Here are all of the details.
