Wichita Falls Treatment Services will host a Recovery Celebration from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept 21 in Wichita Falls, Texas. The celebration will be an event featuring games, entertainment and prizes, and will take place at Wichita Falls Treatment Services, located at 207 Broad Street.

Wichita Falls Treatment Services is a branch of Texas Treatment Services and provides effective addiction treatment in Wichita Falls, Texas. Texas Treatment Services provides assistance to those struggling with opioid addiction with its opioid treatment centers across the state of Texas to support individuals as they move towards a substance-free life.

September is National Recovery Month.

The Recovery Celebration is part of recognizing National Recovery Month, which is the month of September. According to a press release from Wichita Treatment Services, in 2023, Wichita Falls Mayor Stephen Santellana issued a proclamation that declared Sept. 20 as Celebration of Recovery Day in Wichita Falls.

We use this day to celebrate the patients we serve and our efforts to beat the Opioid Epidemic. Our goal is to celebrate those in recovery community-wide and spread awareness about the devastating effects of fentanyl. We want to show that Wichita Falls is willing to stand against opiate use to help those suffering from addiction.

Wichita Falls Treatment Services is hoping that the Recovery Celebration on Sept. 21 will be a large-scale event in Wichita Falls. For more details about the event, visit the Wichita Falls Treatment Services Facebook page.
