Did The Loch Ness Monster Pack Up And Move To Houston, Texas?
Everybody is moving to Texas, and that "everybody" also means monsters.
The Sighting!
Have you ever seen something out of the corner of your eye and thought, "What the heck was that?". Sometimes your eyes deceive you and sometimes it's exactly what you thought it was. So, was it a monster that was spotted on the Interstate in Houston? Here's what the caption from the Houston Police Officers Union said:
Pretty sure that the Loch Ness monster was just spotted in the number one lane of traffic on I45 SB at Crosstimbers. Makes sense.-Houston Police Officers Union
The Picture
If you look at the picture quickly, then it does look like some kind of sea animal. Some folks have even made it grainy to look more like one of the famous pictures of the Loch Ness Monster. It had me fooled just long enough to think, "poor thing" because I thought it was a wayward seal if not a serpent.
The Truth
This is purely a case of your eyeballs fooling you for a second. If you look at it closely, it looks more like a chair or something photographed from the side. Here's a photo that hasn't had as much "treatment":
With the above picture you can start making out that it's just some kind of roadside garbage, and probably not a sea serpent. It's amazing how this picture and the power of suggestion by the Houston Police Officers Union made a lot of people pause for just a second.
