Dallas Cowboy Blocked From His College Number for the DUMBEST Reason
Hey Jerry Jones, fix this dumb policy immediately!
Check Out DeMarvion Overshown Week 1 Highlights
A name that Dallas Cowboys fans may not recognize making some huge plays on Sunday was linebacker DeMarvion Overshown. Texas Longhorns fans definitely remember this guy making huge plays for them on Saturdays. Now technically last year was his first year as a Cowboy, but he tore his ACL in the preseason and did not play at all in 2023. If he keeps making plays like he did on Sunday, he will be a huge factor in this Dallas Cowboys defense. Sadly though, DeMarvion can not where his college number with the Dallas Cowboys.
DeMarvion Overshown Wearing the Number Zero in College
Since 2021, the number zero has been allowed for player's uniforms in the NFL. I thought no Dallas Cowboy had the right to this number, but in a recent interview. DeMarvion said he was not allowed to wear the number for the Dallas Cowboys.
The Dallas Cowboys Mascot Rowdy Has the Rights to the Number Zero
That's right! This abomination the Dallas Cowboys call a mascot is the only one allowed to wear number zero. Let me say this, Rowdy has not earned ANY rights with the Dallas Cowboys. The last Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl win? January 28, 1996. When did Rowdy become the mascot for the Dallas Cowboys? August 19,1996.
The team has not been to a NFC Championship game since this freak has been marching up the sidelines. Get Rowdy off of the sidelines and let Overshown wear his college number. The Dallas Cowboys do not retire numbers, even though 12 (Staubach), 74 (Lilly), 8 (Aikman), and 22 (Smith) have never been issued again, they're technically not retired. I guess add 0 to that list while that smiling moron is waving his flag on the sidelines. God I hate Rowdy!
