Say It Ain’t So, Entertainmart Closing Wichita Falls, Texas Location

Whether you love movies, video games, books, music, or toys, Entertainmart had something for everybody.

It was back in 2016 a little piece of Wichita Falls died in all of us. Hastings Entertainment off Southwest Parkway announced they were going out of business. Whenever we talk about Wichita Falls stores people miss the most, Hastings is always near the top. Well in 2019, a new store opened up in the same shopping center as Hastings, just a few doors down, Entertainmart.

Although Hastings is gone forever in Wichita Falls, Entertainmart gave us a great selection of some of the same things Hastings used to sell back in the day. Sadly, it looks like Entertainmart will be leaving us as well. Hopefully, just temporarily.

According to a post on Facebook, Entertainmart is closing on May 11. They do leave the possibility open of finding a new location to open up at in town, but it looks like that location on Southwest Parkway will be gone on May 11, 2025. Entertainmart already has great sales throughout the year, but keep an eye on discounts coming in the next few weeks.

Hopefully Entertainmart can find somewhere new to go in town. Their current location is 12,000 square feet and trying to find another location that size maybe difficult in town. The Hobby Lobby Shopping Center just had someone takeover the old Hastings location this week. Beall's and Homecentric moved in and had their grand opening.

The former El Chico restaurant still is vacant and it looks like in just over a month Entertainmart will be up for grabs as well.
