The movie that made you terrified to go in the water will be shown in some very unique ways here in Texas this summer.

Considered the first ever summer blockbuster 'Jaws' was released on June 20, 1975. The first ever film to make over 100 millions dollars at the box office and has become a must watch for many every summer. This year for the 50th anniversary some special screenings are taking place in Texas and here is where 'Jaws' fanatics will want to go.

Watch 'Jaws on the Water' in Lake Travis in Austin

Volente Beach Resort is bringing back their Jaws screenings for the film's 50th anniversary. Guests will be able to enjoy the film while sitting in an inner tube on Lake Travis. You can check out a video of what the event has looked like in year's past below. Although a June date has not been announced for Jaws on the Water, many believe they will do it on the 20th for the 50th anniversary. You can also watch it on the Fourth of July, which is when the movie takes place.

Watch Jaws with Houston Symphony Orchestra Accompaniment

Jaws has one of the most recognizable scores in film history and it looks like Houston Symphony Orchestra is getting in on the fun. While the movie is being played on a screen in the auditorium, the orchestra itself will be taking care of the music for the film. Alamo Drafthouse Plans to Create Special Jaws Menu

If you want to just go see Jaws at a regular movie theater, pretty much every chain will be getting Jaws on the big screen for the 50th anniversary. Alamo Drafthouse with eighteen locations throughout Texas are planning to go all out for Jaws with what they call a movie party. Guests get shark hats, yellow floatie drink holders and a boat-shaped bath bomb with a great white shark in the center. They will also have a menu dedicated to the movie as well, which has not been announced yet.

No matter where or how you watch 'Jaws' this summer. Be sure you celebrate this iconic piece of cinema history at some point for it's 50th anniversary.
