When a Wichita Falls TV Anchor Dropped an F-Bomb During a TV Promo
News bloopers are the best and I have never seen this one from KAUZ back in the day.
We all know certain words can never be said on television and one news anchor let one slip during a TV promo for KAUZ back in the late 1980's. This is John O'Conner, which according to Broadcasting Fandom worked for KAUZ from 1987-1988. Well John was doing a story about a new business opening in Wichita Falls. From the sounds of it, a new Walmart or Sam's Club was coming to town because he mentions an interview with Sam Walton.

I think John just wanted to have some fun because this obviously never meant to make it for air. I'm not sure what word he was trying to say instead of f***ing, but the quick ten second clip has been shared online for all of us to enjoy all these years later.
Wichita Falls News F-Bomb
Never Forget, KAUZ's Own Ken Johnson Was Interrupted by Borat
I was curious if KAUZ had any other news bloopers, but nothing will top their current weather man Ken Johnson. Now, this was before he was working in Wichita Falls. Back in the early 2000's, he was working for WAPT in Jackson, Mississippi and Borat crashed the set. Apparently they were told he was working on a documentary about journalism and he was a journalist from Kazakhstan. After doing a five minute interview on the news, he crashed Ken Johnson's weather segment.
Very nice!
