Valentine's Day is right around the corner in Amarillo, and despite the fact that we have a plethora of restaurants to choose from, reservations can be hard to come by in the city when it comes to that perfect Valentine's Day dinner.
If you don't book out well ahead of time, and we're talking like weeks in advance, you may find yourself grabbing Whataburger and not having a date after the evening is over.
When you think about a romantic dinner, many people begin to think about an Italian restaurant. The setting is usually a bit darker, a mellow music plays softly in the background, and many times there is candlelight at the table.
Plus, we all think about the Lady & The Tramp moment where they both get the same noodle, right?
Amazingly, but not shockingly, Italian is NOT the most popular restaurant to hit in Texas. Nope, that would be a steakhouse.
That's one thing we definitely don't lack here in Amarillo, but just because there are many to choose from means you're going to be able to get in. Chances are if you don't already have a reservation, you should probably be thinking about other cuisines.
Italian would probably be next on the list for you and there are plenty of options to choose from here in Amarillo. Outside of that? Maybe you find a cuisine you both enjoy and focus there. Outside of steakhouses and Italian restaurants, you SHOULD be able to land those late reservations.
