It’s the most wonderful time of the year here in El Paso! Especially if you’re a fan of delicious gorditas!

Kermés season is back in the borderland. If you’ve been dreaming of indulging in delicious gorditas, playing some fun Kermés games, and just hanging out with others in your community then the following list is something you’ve been waiting for!

Kermes happen all across the city in church parking lots. They are family friendly events that attract hundreds of locals! Many come for the food, some come for the fun ana dgames, and others come just to enjoy the live music and to be surrounded by their community.

 

El Paso Matters shared a recent post on their social media pages sharing a full list of local Kermes happening.

 

Here’s the remaining Kermés events for 2024:

  • Socorro Mission La Purisima, 328 S. Nevarez: September 27th - 29th
  • Our Lady of Sorrows, 7712 S. Rosedale: September 28th - 29th
  • Our Lady of The Valley, 8600 Winchester: October 4th - 5th
  • St. Pius, 1050 N. Clark: October 4th - 6th
  • San Antonio, 503 Hunter: October 19th
