The first half of the twice yearly time change is upon us. It's a little earlier than usual this year, March 8th across most of the country. I say "most" because not everybody shifts.
Fall back, Texas! Daylight Saving Time ends soon, meaning an extra hour of sleep, earlier sunsets, and a reminder to change clocks and home safety batteries.
House Bill 1393, which would leave Texas on Daylight Saving Time ... DST is summer, in winter it's standard time ... year round, passed the Texas House of Representatives but it's not law yet.
