A town in Michigan has deemed a local tea party group called "Common Sense Patriots of Branch County" as too controversial.  After you read the article below, it will become painfully clear that this community's leaders, most specifically it's city manager, just don't get it: the First Amendment applies to conservatives as well as liberals and those in between.  The fearless leaders up there say signs that the group displays, in a public park mind you, are too political and controversial, so the signs are banned.  The group as a whole will be next and you know it.  Fortunately, this same controversy has not impacted our local Tea Party group.  They've held several rallies at the Wichita County Courthouse.  And, for what it's worth, they leave the place even cleaner than when they arrived.  I'm just saying!
