Surprisingly, Oklahoma's crime anxiety rankings are incredibly low compared to other popular cities across the country. The study ranks Oklahoma City as 192 and Tulsa as 188 on a list of 200 cities.
They based their ratings off of how often Oklahomans were searching for things like "crimes near me" and "is my area safe." They also rated each city's home security interest, including searches for doorbell ring cameras, home security cameras and more.
It's worth noting that, while Oklahoma's crime anxiety ratings are incredibly low, folks have been growing increasingly concerned recently. So much so that searches for crime issues in the OKC and Tulsa areas have risen over 12.4% year-after-year.
