Do you shop at Walmart? Most of us do and if you buy certain items at Walmart they may owe you some extra cash due to a Class Action Settlement.

Walmart has agreed to settle a class action lawsuit claiming the store charged more for weighted items than they should have. We are talking about produce like packaged beef, poultry, pork, seafood and bagged fruit items too.

Now, they aren't admitting to doing any of this but they have made a settlement in the class action lawsuit where they will shell out a total of $45 million to customers who bought these products between October 2018 to January 2024.

How Much Money Can I Get Back From This Settlement?

The payout won't be much, especially if you don't have your receipts but you still can receive between $10 to $25 depending on how much of these items you bought.

If you do have your receipts you can receive 2% back on the cost of the weighted goods up to $500.

It is on an honors system so yes be truthful purchases. But the form is easy to fill out and it will give the option on how you would like to receive the money.
