If you’re like me and aren’t a big fan of heavy traffic and large crowds, you probably avoided traveling to areas in the path of totality for today’s solar eclipse.

Don’t get me wrong – I think eclipses are kind of cool. I always take time to go outside and take it in while it’s happening. And while we only got a partial eclipse here in Wichita Falls, it was still pretty cool.

However, I decided to do something a little different this time around. I took my laptop and microphone outside and did The Afternoon Buzz from my deck while the eclipse was going on.

Even though the show started at 3:00 pm, after the eclipse ended, I took advantage of modern technology and recorded it in advance. It was actually a neat experience – right up until my neighbor started mowing. At that point, I had to take it inside.

Anyway, many of the folks who made their way to the path of totality shared videos on X. So, I put a bunch of those videos together so that we can live vicariously through them.
