104-Year-Old Texas Woman Says Dr. Pepper Is the Key to Her Long Life
According to a 104-year-old Fort Worth woman, the key to her long life is three (3!) Dr. Peppers a day.
When asked about the key to her longevity, Elizabeth Sullivan gave a nod (three, technically) to Dr. Pepper.
"Every doctor that sees me says 'they’ll kill you,' but they die and I don't. So there must be a mistake somewhere," said Sullivan.
Sullivan claims she drinks three Dr. Peppers a day. She recently celebrated her 104th year with a Dr. Pepper-shaped cake and gift basket sent by the Larry Young, CEO of the Dr. Pepper Snapple Group.
Now, I'm not really a soda guy. I rarely drink soft drinks nor do I drink mixed drinks aside from the occasional Crown and 7. However, I do enjoy the prune-flavored taste of Dr. Pepper from time to time.
