The Wichita Falls Police Department has reported that a new telephone scam has been occurring in the Wichita Falls area.
The WFPD has reports of callers claiming to be from fake loan companies, fake Publishers Clearing House lottery scams and people posing as family members needing money to get out of jail

UPDATE | 6/13/13- 9:20pm: Detectives believe the suspect in the shooting may be a black male named "Trey" or uses the street name of "Trey". Detectives also believe the suspect may have last been in the Maurine Street Hotel/Motel district in the red two (2) Mitsubishi Eclipse prior to the shooting.
