Here's something you don't see everyday.

A news crew in Buffalo was interviewing a man about an electrical fire on Sunday when they were interrupted by an exploding manhole cover that rocketed into the sky and back down onto the ground. It was one of several explosions in the area.

It's unclear what caused the problems in the neighborhood, although it's believed it had to do with "the rapid build-up of heat, gas and smoke leading to intense pressure in the confined space under the road."

It makes for some pretty intense video and somehow traffic was not expected to be tied up as a result.
