Considering the hot-button issue that is gun control, this is sure to raise some eyebrows.

Someone made a drone that can fire a gun, the ultimate in machines taking over. As the video description succinctly says it's a "homemade multirotor with a semiautomatic handgun mounted on it."

What can possibly go wrong with that?

Don't expect armed drones to become a trend anytime soon, though. The FAA is very clear that it is illegal, saying, "We currently have rules in the books that deal with releasing anything from an aircraft, period Those rules are in place, and that would prohibit weapons from being installed on a civil aircraft."

That may be so, but you get the feeling people are still going to construct these kind of drones and let the bullets fly like they're in the wild west.
