With the drought only getting worse around Wichita Falls, stories like this should make you sick.

Officials in Portland, Oregon are preparing to dump around 38 million gallons of treated water that may or may not have a little bit of urine in it.

Security cameras at the open reservoir caught a young man peeing through the iron fence surrounding the water late Wednesday night.

Sure, nobody wants urine in their water, but here's why it isn't that big a deal. Compared to the 38 million gallons present, an ounce or two of urine isn't going to make much of a difference. Besides that, animals frequently leave their waste in the water without posing public health concerns.

The only reason that officials have decided to flush the reservoir is because it was deliberately tainted, and they want to rub it in our faces that they have plenty of water.

According to Water Bureau Administrator David Shaff "It's easy to replace those 38 million gallons of water. We're not in the arid Southwest; we're not in drought-stricken parts of Texas or Oklahoma."

Exactly. You're not in a drought. You're not wishing for even the smallest rain cloud and performing rain dances at Texas Nite Life every weekend. So be thankful and stop wasting all this water!

This isn't the first time something like this has happened though. About three years ago the city flushed 7.5 million gallons of water for the same reason.

You can check out the security camera footage for yourself below. I believe that he contaminates the water sometime around the 3:00 minute mark.

And I guess the only thing left to say is COME ON PORTLAND!
