Home sweet home is anything but for one family.

The new owners of a $1.3 million house in Westfield, NJ have left the home after they received frightening letters from someone named "The Watcher," who claims he is looking over their home.

The letters began arriving shortly after the family moved into the house. "The Watcher" wrote such creepy things as the house "has been the subject of my family for decades" and "I have been put in charge of watching and waiting for its second coming."

"The Watcher" appears to know the owners have children because one letter asked, "Have they found out what’s in the walls yet?” and “I am pleased to know your names now, and the name of the young blood you have brought to me."

The new owners filed a lawsuit against the previous owners, claiming they knew about "the Watcher," but failed to disclose that information.

Police have been investigating the matter, but no charges have been filed.
