Subway Restaurant Worker Killed During Robbery in Dallas [VIDEO]

DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police say a worker at a Subway restaurant has been shot to death during a robbery.

Police say the robbers shot and killed 28-year-old Leonardo Ortega late Sunday night and then fled with cash from the register.

Police say the two robbers had entered the business just before closing time and demanded money. Ortega complied with their demands, but was shot anyway. The suspects were then seen by witnesses fleeing on foot.

Police are now reviewing surveillance footage to learn more about the two suspects.
