Virginia Tech Submits to Lockdown as Unidentified Gunman Roams Campus

Virginia Tech appears to be reliving its worst nightmare as reports of a shooting have placed the university under lockdown.
The suspected shooter, who the institution's website describes as a white male in gray sweatpants, neon green brimmed gray hat and a maroon hoodie with a backpack, has reportedly shot a police officer and is still at large. While details of the shooting are still unclear, the school's newspaper The Collegiate is reporting the cop is dead.
